Problem je bio u rs232 kablu. Sa adapterom USB to RS232 radi potpuno normalno. Iako su neki pisali da imaju problema ako spajaju pomoću adaptera ja za sada takvih problema nemam.

Ako če nekome treba adapter evo i info kako do njega:

USB to RS232 adapter je marke Connex kupljen u HG Spot-u i košta oko 120kn. Znači s ovim adapterom radi provjereno potpuno ok.

Eto mene opet Dali postoji mogučnost na ovom uređaju da se otvori kompletni TX. Zanima me zbog mogučnosti rada i na CB-u. Imam plan postaviti i jednu CB antenu pa da ne nabavljam drugi uređaj ako ovaj možda ima tu mogučnost s obzirom da prijem imam besprijekoran. Thanks za savjete.

New TX Freq range: 1.8-30 MHz.

Modification Procedure: Units lot 07 and above the jumper JP4002 must be removed.

Disconnect the power form the radio. Remove the front panel & the large RF shield to access the CONTROL PCB. Locate the solder jumper JP4002 as shown in the attached photos. Use professional de-solder tools and technique to remove the solder and open the contacts. Reassemble the radio and power cord.

Press and hold [ATT/IPO], [NB], and [AGC] keys, while turning the radio on. "SMADJO" will be displayed on the LCD as the memory address at the lower right side of the display.

Rotate the [DSP/SEL] knob CCW to show "TYPE" at the memory address on the display.

Briefly, press the [F] key, and confirm the "F" icon lights. While the "F" icon is displayed, press the [NB] key. "t" will be displayed at the right end of the frequency display.

Press and hold the [F] key for 3 seconds. A long beep will sound, the screen will clear and then the frequency will be displayed on the LCD. The procedure is complete.

To return the radio to normal Ham Band mode, do procedure (1) and (2) as above, and then follow steps (3) and (4) below.

Briefly, press the [F] key, and confirm the "F" icon lights. While the "F" icon is displayed, turn the VFO knob to select "A" as displayed at the right end of the frequency display.

Press and hold the [F] key for 3 seconds. A long beep will sound, the screen will clear and then the frequency will be displayed on the LCD. Verify the radio will transmit in the Amateur bands only. The procedure is complete.

Pozdrav ekipi. Po netu sam vidio da se na ovom uređaju može promjeniti boja displeja. Po uputama koje imaju na netu da se drže tri gumba prilikom paljenja i onog svega kud trebam otiči ja ne dobivam ništa. Gledajući video na youtube kako oni okreču one brojeve njima se boja mijenja a meni se mijenja jačina svijetla na istoj stavci koju oni diraju. Zna li netko zašto je to tako. Thanks

Ako ti se mijenja jačina svjetla onda si na neki način uključio DIM (dimmer).

Ako istovremeno stisneš ATT/IPO + NB + AGC (tri tipke) i dok držiš stisnute tipke uključiš uređaj trebao bi se naći u "hidden menu".
Okretanjem DSP dugmeta se pomičeš po meniju a VFO-om mijenjaš postavke odabranog menija.
Za promjenu boje na displeju trebaš promijeniti vrijednosti u LEDINT1, LEDINT2 i LEDINT3. Kad si sve poštelao po guštu ne zaboravi kratko stisnuti F tipku kako bi ti nove postavke bile spremljene.
Kod uređaja koji imaju stariji firmware to nije radilo, no kako ti imaš novi trebalo bi.
Pokušaj pa javi kako je prošlo.

Pozdrav Branko. Sve ja napravim kako si ti rekao ali primjer kada odem na LEDINT1 i mijenjam vrijednosti meni se mijenja samo jačina osvjetljenja dok boja uvijek ostaje ista (bijela).  Isto se događa ako odem i pod LEDINT2 i 3.

BTW ono što si mi napisao za otvaranje TX-a radi bez problema.

Izgleda da neki noviji tipovi 450-ice (proizvedeni nakon 11 mjeseca 2008. godine) ne podržavaju više taj mod.
Ne žali previše za tim fenši šemsi cakama, ja sam se na svom malo poigrao i vratio na default. Zaista nije vrijedno, bar meni.
Ako ti je baš do toga stalo pokušaj ovo, možda te to malo oraspoloži. ;-))


Default Display dimmer control

    This does not address the display colors but it does relate to the display.

    The FT-450 has a very intense display for my money. Therefore, I found on Page 68 that I could vary the brightness of the display.

    There are four brightness settings (0-4, 0 being Off) and I found that 2 or 3 was more to my liking. However, a friend advised me that the transmitted audio was not clean. After some experimentation, I found that there is indeed a small "squeal" impressed on the transmitted audio and while it is not very high level, it is unwanted. I also found that the squeal was not there if the display was at top brightness or turned off and neither were acceptable to me. Other than this little problem, the radio was perfect for me so I could not ignore this.

    I found some websites that prescribed fixes for the problem. One, in fact, was very professional and gave step-by-step instructions for removing the front panel of the radio, installing a few grounding finger contacts and removing a small cap near the transmit audio circuitry. Apparently, when the brightness is less than 4 (2 or 3), the strobing of the display segments were enough to creep into the mike audio [ground] line because of a poor ground point in that area of the front panel circuitry.

    Because the radio was new, I did not want to take the radio apart to fix this problem. Instead, I was ready to leave the display at full brightness although this would not leave me a happy camper. If this had to happen, it would happen and, if so, I would have placed a dusky plastic shield over the display. This was my next move rather than go prowling around in the guts of my new radio. However, I somehow knew that Yaesu was not going to put out a radio with some little problem like this so I decided to go into the menus and find a fix.

    After a few days of digging around in the manual looking at the menus, I suddenly saw on Page 68, right under the brightness settings instructions, the second menu entry for the display settings: Display Contrast Level. This leaped out of the page at me and I started to play with this control. The contrast settings ranged from 1 thru 24 and the default setting as received was found to be set at 24!

    I set the brightness at full (setting 4) and cranked down the display Contrast. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a Contrast setting of 5 gave me the display brightness I needed and wanted. It is practically undistinguishable from the reduced brightness settings.

    Yaesu just eliminated going into my radio and running the risk of "finding" some other problem. If this squeal is found on any other person's radio, this is a quick and safe fix. Try it -- you'll like it!

Naj ga plasiti Martine radi to radi ko grom kod mene vec par godina besprekorno pa cak i na laptopu sve radi normalno.Moras i u opcijama softwer-a HRD podesiti CAT kontrolu na odredjeni COM port i tamo vidis koji ti je aktivan.Pazi jos jedan detalj ako imas jos kaj na USB ustekano mene zna zezati printer ako je zastekan na USB stalno onda mi se postavi izgleda kao priritetni pa mi za CAT kontrolu odmah promjeni port pa ga moram traziti zato je kod postavki HRD-a dobro staviti automatsko trazenje COM porta. Ja doduse radim sa TS480 ali povremeno koristim i FT100d pa cak sam oba uredjaja imao prikljucena na CAT preko istog HRD-a i radili su oba samo kod strta odaberes koji uredjaj hoces koristiti.Ajde za HRD mi se obrati mailom pa cu ti dati upute kaj da postavis.Mail je joe9a2qp@gmail.com. Tebi je sve u redu sa hardverom nego treba HRD podesiti i sve ce raditi lijepo ja sam s tim softwerom prezadovoljan samo mi je zao kaj nema WFF prcenje ali nemoguce je sve imati kaj se more.
