THE 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST POWERED FLIGHT IN ENGLAND ON 16th OCTOBER 1908, HERE AT FARNBOROUGH

We ( The Farnborough & District Amateur Radio Society) will be operating the Station  on a daily basis,    'From the 13th until 19th October 2008'         as follows:-

09.00z  to 12.00z       (Lsb) on  7050 Khz
12.00z  to 16.00z       (Usb) on 14250 Khz...
(with 'extended hours' on 16th October 2008)

We will acknowledge all QSO,s (via the RSGB QSL Bureau), with a Special QSL Card, & would emphasize the unusual 'Granting' of this 'unusual 4 Letter Suffix Call'   for this ''' Very Special Anniversary Event'''' (Image on page 2 of this press release)
